On the Myrtle Beach Pavilion since 1950 this carousel is one of only a handful of original carousels operating in the world and one of only 15 of those operating in the United States.

I have had an interest in painting since early childhood; fascinated by watercolors and loving works of oil on canvas, especially seascapes. My beginnings as an artist were first with oils on canvas. For many, many years my camera was always near my side and ready to be used snapping a scene or image that would later be used as a basis for a future painting.
