This large 'sign' hangs from a building at Government Center, Boston, MA. Once the sign for the old Oriental Tea Company which is now defunct. A famous tourist attraction. Capacity two hundred and twenty seven gallons, two quarts, one pint, and three gills. It is ever steaming but this photo was taken on a hot summer day and the steam barely shows coming out of the spout.

I have had an interest in painting since early childhood; fascinated by watercolors and loving works of oil on canvas, especially seascapes. My beginnings as an artist were first with oils on canvas. For many, many years my camera was always near my side and ready to be used snapping a scene or image that would later be used as a basis for a future painting.
