Salem City Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. Salem City Hall is the oldest continually run city hall in America, surviving the Great Salem Fire of 1914. The plaque to the left of the door states: "Welcome to our Nation's 2nd oldest city hall".
I have had an interest in painting since early childhood; fascinated by watercolors and loving works of oil on canvas, especially seascapes. My beginnings as an artist were first with oils on canvas.
